Two postions are open. Fourth Shift (Friday, Saturday and Sunday 6AM-6PM) and Second Shift (Monday - Friday 2PM-10PM). The person on Fourth shift is considered a full time regular employee and is paid for a full 40 hours.
JOB DUTIES:.Assist the Maintenance Department by performing one or all of the below listed duties. Must be able to satisfy any applicable physical ability testing that may be required for the position. Additional duties may be assigned as needed.
a). Troubleshoot and repair pneumatic, hydraulic, and mechanical problems associated with Company facilities and equipment.
b). Perform preventative maintenance as required on Company equipment.
c). Perform basic electrical repairs as needed.
d). Perform minor welding operations as needed.
e). Perform all work duties with a minimal amount of direct supervision.
f). Assist in the training of new employees.
g). Perform all job duties without posing a direct threat to his/her or coworkers' safety or welfare.
h). Abide by all safety rules as listed in the Safety Handbook, including the use of all required personal protective equipment.
i). Must be familiar with Hensley’s Quality System.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
Must have five or more years experience as an industrial mechanic.
Must be able to pass a forklift driving certification test.
Must be able to read blueprints and schematics.
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Must demonstrate the ability to safely operate the following machines and/or equipment:
a). Various hand tools.
b). Forklift.
c). Cutting torch.
d). Various pneumatic tools.
LANGUAGE SKILLS:
Must be able to communicate effectively in English. Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:
Ability to apply concepts of basic math to practical situations
